Do I need a visa for Tonga from India?

Indian nationals are required to obtain visas before traveling to Tonga, for tourism purpose. Aside from the valid visa, Indians are also required to present passports with remaining validity of at least 6 months beyond the date of departure from Tonga, onward or return tickets, and evidence of sufficient funds for their stay in the territory in order to be allowed to enter Tonga. What is the validity of a Tonga Visa for Indians?

The visitor’s visa issued to travelers is usually valid for 30 days. Indians are advised that it is illegal to take up employment, business or schooling while in Tonga on a visitor’s visa. They must also take careful note of the validity of their visa and make sure not to overstay as anyone in breach of the immigration act may be prosecuted and subject to a term of imprisonment or fine or both.
